Happy ! 🌈 In times when legislation around the world challenges our rights, especially those of our transgender youth, we stand firm in our belief that everyone is worthy of love and connection, regardless of who they love.

These legislative attacks are taking many forms: targeting our access to necessary healthcare, prohibiting the use of public accommodations in accordance with our gender identity, restricting the rights of trans students in schools, and other anti-LGBTQ bills that aim to infringe upon our rights.

This Pride month, let's stand together, be true, and love freely. We face these adversities together and triumph in our shared resilience.

Despite the shadows of these challenges, we celebrate without shame, understanding that each of us has something unique to contribute to this world. Our differences are our strength, and they are to be valued. Remember, love is love! 🏳️‍🌈💕

Our fight continues for a place where identities that have been at war with each other can finally find peace, a place we can finally call home. We trust that what we are doing has purpose and that it will create a positive change within ourselves, the community, and the world.

A response to the Colorado Springs Club Q shooting. A message from Adam & Brandon, believr’s co-founders who graduated high school in Colorado Springs a decade ago. Brandon lives there currently.

Yesterday was full of sadness, fear, and anger. Sending the “are you alive?” text is never something someone should have to do.

Thank you to those of you who reached out to check on us. We’re safe and we’re grateful for you. Our hearts break for all of us affected by this tragedy. This hits very close to home for both of us. We’re heavy-hearted over this senseless violence against our community. There is still so much work to be done. Adam believes we as LGBTQIA+ Christians should care about this because the event directly affects our community. Especially since Colorado Springs is the hub for over 500 conservative Christian organizations' headquarters and is surrounded by 5 military bases. We can’t just sit by and do nothing - we’re taking time to process and determine what’s next and until then we must love each other. Tell people how much they mean to you.

Austin! Join us Tuesday June 21, 2022 at UT for a special screening of the film PRAY AWAY, the Netflix documentary that explores the narratives of survivors of so-called “conversion therapy” & the former leaders the “pray the gay away” movement.

The screening will be followed by a conversation with survivors, advocates, mental health experts, & faith leaders on LGBTQIA+ identity, spirituality, healing, & the work that needs to be done to end this harmful practice in Texas.
