Axellio Inc.

Axellio Inc. Axellio PacketXpress®: Scalable, simultaneous, always-on recording and distribution at over 100 Gbps.

Axellio® is an innovator in network intelligence platforms for the Department of Defense, the Intelligence Community, and global security operations. Axellio’s PacketXpress® is the highest performing, smallest form factor network traffic capture, storage, analysis, and distribution platform, combining the benefits of network packet recorder and packet brokers. This open, scalable, and application

agnostic platform has the unique ability of simultaneous on-disk recording and off-disk distribution at well over 100 Gbps with no loss. This allows any cyber security monitoring and forensic analysis application to close the visibility gap, increasing operational effectiveness for rapid and informed decisions, while reducing the total cost of ownership and analysis complexity.

Every model is only as trustworthy as the it learns from — and most organizations are quietly starving their models by feeding them summaries instead of the real thing.

In our latest blog post, we break down why pre-processed and flow records strip out the very anomalies AI needs to learn from ("Anomalies, by definition, don't fit that model"), why raw data preserves the optionality to ask new questions when threats emerge, and how the split between training and production inference data quietly degrades model performance over time.

The fix isn't hoarding everything forever at hot-storage prices, it's a tiered hot/warm/cold architecture that makes petabyte-scale raw data retention practical.

Read the full breakdown:

Learn how petabyte-scale mission data management, tiered storage, and native replay improve ISR, cybersecurity, and defense operations while reducing costs.

Ripping out your existing security stack to get better packet visibility isn't realistic — and with PacketXpress, it isn't necessary.

Suricata. Zeek. tcpdump. tshark. Your custom tools. PacketXpress feeds each one its own dedicated memory ring, delivering standard PCAP headers and normal drop counters. From your tools' perspective, nothing changed. No recompiling. No API changes. No plugins. No reconfiguration.

Same tools. Smarter data. Zero disruption.

New data from IBM's 2026 Cost of a Data Breach Report: only 34% of organizations have visibility into their own cryptographic assets. One in four malicious breaches are now AI-enabled, up 56% year-over-year, averaging $6M in damages, with critical infrastructure sectors like financial services and energy bearing the brunt.

The pattern is consistent: organizations aren't losing to more sophisticated attackers alone, they're losing because they can't see what's happening on their own networks until it's too late.

Cyberattacks are getting faster. Detection isn't keeping up.

In 2021, it took attackers about 9 days to pull data out of a compromised cloud environment. Today, it can take under 30 minutes, while the average breach still goes undetected for 219 days.

Encryption, high-speed networks, and fragmented cloud/on-prem environments have opened up blind spots that traditional monitoring tools can't cover. In our latest blog post, we look at why full network visibility — not just alerts and metadata — is what closes that gap.

🔍 More tools. More data. Still blind spots.

Today's security stacks are packed with sophisticated tech — yet most teams still can't see everything moving across their network. Uncorrelated alerts. Missed East-West traffic. Gaps attackers exploit.

The fix isn't more tools, it's total packet visibility.

Your SOC didn't just install Suricata & Zeek — you tuned them, built dashboards, trained analysts to trust them. That's why "rip and replace" upgrades feel too risky.

PacketXpress upgrades what's underneath. Nothing on top changes.

New industry data confirms the theory: AI's biggest bottleneck isn't the model. It's the data underneath it.

BARC's Data, BI and Analytics Trend Monitor 2026 surveyed 1,579 organizations, and data quality management reclaimed the #1 spot as their top AI challenge, ahead of every other priority.

The report's finding is blunt: "the industry is moving past the assumption that better algorithms can compensate for weak foundations." Hallucinations, bias, and faulty recommendations trace back to noisy, incomplete, or poorly governed data — not architecture.

We'd take it one step further: quality starts with retention. You can't govern, clean, or learn from data you never kept in raw form in the first place.

In 2026, the success of AI hinges on high-quality data, as poor data can lead to biased predictions and faulty recommendations. As highlighted by BARC's Trend Monitor, organizations must prioritize data quality management to ensure reliable AI outputs and maintain trust in AI-driven decisions.
