We've been tracking real-time customer behavior and here's what we've found so far:

💻Less people are browsing during the workday - with lower traffic volumes than Black Friday and 82% of traffic coming from mobile.

💸 Many consumers waited until today to buy - with a big surge in conversions compared to Black Friday - making it a good time for personalized deals and add-ons.

😡 More purchases means more frustration - the highest we've seen across Cyber 5, despite a 25% drop in error rates. Now is the time to look beyond common API errors, and identify friction points such as unclickable images, confusing form fills or bad promo codes.

📲Keep leaning into your mobile app - Mobile apps are seeing conversion rates that are 2X higher than mobile web with higher intent buyers.

The new peak season? It’s every season.

With more sale days throughout the year, consumer expectations are shifting to longer browsing times with the average consumer visiting a site at least 3 times before they make a purchase or booking.

Our latest benchmark report, The Fall of Peak, digs into the why behind these habits and what they mean for peak strategies for the holidays and into 2025. So, what did we uncover?

✴️ Sales urgency is dropping with 40% of consumers feeling less of a need to shop during major promotional events.
✴️ Digital traffic is shifting from peaks around sale times to consistent engagement levels year round.
✴️ Conversions rates for fall 2024 dropped at least 5% as more consumers take time to consider their purchase.
✴️ Payments is a point of concern with 51% of consumers testing their payment options on a site days before they take action.
✴️ Continuous monitoring and optimization is necessary when just 23% of consumers report site issues or frustrations.
