Well we were going to just transition things and what not. But once again you all have grumpy nerds that give the rest of us a bad name with normies to thank, for our business choices.
Really 1 star review bombing because we closed... I've got better things to deal with.
This will be up till Sunday. Then all things a matter of Hacks will be deleted.

Alright, I have avoided saying anything cause..... Well I didn't want to get mushy.
Thank you everyone who has been in the store over the years. It really was fun. To everyone that made it in today. You made the last day of our business in its current state, you made it a very special day.
The choice to shift the direction of the company wasn't easy. I spent a year working on ways to keep it going while working on my other project. In the end there wasn't enough time and energy for everything and something had to go. I am a firm believer in always moving forward. So here's the thing, for me the choice was easy. I see a great impact potential. Want a little truth. I am not a money motivated person. I am a results and impact driven person. As an equalist utilitarian, my actions are based on one question ( how will my actions benefit the greatest number of people?)
The store did a lot of good. We helped a lot of great people..... But I can do more, affect greater change and am driven to do so as well.
So let me leave you all with some wisdom.
Don't take life too seriously, it's not like we get out alive. Have some fun, live a little, love often and reach for your dreams.

One more thing. To everyone we inspired, first thank you. I am humbly honored. Second, stop being scared and go take the leap, go bet on your own success for once and always ask yourself.
Is the juice worth the squeeze?

Have Fun, Take Chances, Don’t Take Life Too Seriously - From Lisa

Looking back 3 years ago who would have guessed it would have been such a great ride. We took the chance and made it successful! When something is successful you push harder and that is what we are doing now. We are going for the next thing and taking the leap. The fear of failure… what if it doesn’t work? We will face it…but what if it does work? No one thinks of that and we did and through the support of customers, friends, family and a community The Shop worked.

Thank you all for the great laughs, smiles, support you have all given us in one way or another! We could not have done this without you and thank you for inspiring us to push forward!

Well just some updates. We have officially sold all the consoles in the store.
From here, they are project consoles and repair parts.
We've sold a bunch of stuff. My favorite part is people are finally finding the hidden gems. Anyways, only 13 days left.

So I just wanted to share some biz stats I thought were pretty cool.

6: we had a yearly growth average of 41.8%.

Well let's talk about things that are going on.
1: We are no longer taking consoles. I want to give these final pieces the time they deserve.
2: we are no longer purchasing or doing trades.
3: We are offering 30% off all games in the front. The loose games in the boxes are $1 a piece.
We are selling repair parts for consoles at cost.
4: the decorations are for sale. The smash banner is $120.00. The Mario pipe podium and fridge are 220.
all other pieces are tagged.
5: none of the shop equipment is for sale. That is all coming with us to this new venture.
6: after today, we will now be closed on Sundays to focus on the final push a bit more.
We will be in the store, so if you need to arrange time. Please reach out.
7: we have 4 customer consoles that are about to be considered abandoned. We have called you, left voicemails, sent texts and emails when available. Once we close, you will be forfeiting ownership. This is a public notice for those people.
