A few weeks ago I was patronizing one of our cloud customers' business, and she mentioned that she had outgrown her current location and would be moving to a larger location in another part of town.

"What do I need to do to move my VoIP phone service?"

Me: Do you have internet at the new location?

"Yes, it's already installed"

Me: Then unplug your phones and plug them in at the new location, and you'll be up and running! Be sure to give me the new address on move date so I can update your 9-1-1 profile

"No way can it be that easy!"

Do you serve on a board?

If so, have you verified your board's D&O (Directors and Officers) insurance policy? If it doesn't have one, board members could be personally liable in the event of a lawsuit.

And let's admit...…… we live in a litigious society!

One of the main risks for boards is loss of historical information that could protect them in the event of litigation, or simply be useful to next generation board members.

Board members are typically not compensated, and are not the best at storing or handing over documents when their term expires.

Dropbox for Business is a great way to mitigate that risk. All documents are kept securely in the cloud, and access is provided only to current board members. You can see exactly who has accessed or shared any document. More importantly, if someone accidentally (or otherwise) deletes documents in Dropbox, you can get them back!
