ISSUE: Perceived Temperature Variances (Under-Heating or Over-Heating)

Avoid solely relying on analog dial thermometers, as they are susceptible to mechanical lag and grease buildup over time, which can lead to inaccurate readings.

Testing Protocol: For the most precise data, utilize a digital probe thermometer. If using an analog device, place it on the center rack and allow the oven to complete a full preheat cycle followed by an additional 20-30 minutes of "soak time" to allow the cavity temperature to stabilize.
Calculating the Average: Modern ovens operate on a heat wave (cycling on and off). To find the true accuracy, record the high and low temperatures during cycles and calculate the average.
Calibration Hack: If a consistent offset is identified after a full preheat, refer to the manual. Most electronic models allow for a thermostat offset adjustment via the control panel. On gas models, gas pressure can be adjusted to reach the desired thermal average for best baking results.

Time to clean your fridge's condenser! Summer heat is coming, and you'll want to keep your fridge happy and running smoothly. Clean the condenser from the front, back, or top, depending on your unit. using a light brush and vacuum. Power off the unit before cleaning, and do it before the hot, humid days arrive.

Holiday reminder.

Be sure to not run your self clean option on your oven this close to the holidays, assuming you’ll want to have the oven in operation for the big day.
It’s the fastest way to find a weak point in your oven leading to a premature fail.

Here is a recipe below. Although, I have not tried it. I have heard it works well. Love to hear any feedback you might have.

Homemade OVEN CLEANER
¼ cup of dish soap
½ cup of lemon juice
1 cup of vinegar
1 ¼ cup of water
All you have to do is add these ingredients into a spray bottle and shake gently to combine. Spray the solution in your stove (including on the inside of the door), then let it sit for a little while. Use a damp cloth to wipe off the solution, and your stove will be looking like a million bucks.

Never to early to remind everyone.
The holidays are fast approaching. I would suggest to verify your oven operations and not use the self clean. Self clean is the fastest way to cause a unit to fail and could result in not having the oven for the big days.
This is cause by the extreme stress that the self clean does to the oven. The older the oven is, the less likely the oven will work after running the self clean. This is because of the normal break down of materials (electronics, wires, etc etc) in the oven over time.
