We had a blast at the Spoon River College career fair, talking with local high school students about what it’s really like to build a career in telecom — from splicing fiber to network ops to everything in between! The students had to "troubleshoot" things that would disrupt your internet connection and determine how to fix those problems. 🧑‍🔧💻

Thanks to Sara for representing MTC and to every student who stopped by the booth with questions. The future workforce of McDonough County is in good hands.

We gave the McDonough County and Hancock County CEO students a peek behind the curtain at MTC!

Students joined us for a hands-on look at what it takes to bring fiber internet from our network all the way to a customer’s home, and got to meet some of the people who make it happen every day.
We loved getting to share a little bit of the technology, teamwork and careers that keep our local communities connected.

Thanks to both CEO groups for spending part of your day with us. We had a blast showing you around!
