I made something for cyclists.

Custom ride posters built from your Strava stats: distance, elevation, moving time, speed, power, location, achievements, and all the little numbers we pretend not to care about but absolutely do.

This started as a Caava design experiment, combining cycling data with a more editorial, typography-forward poster system. Less route map, more “your ride deserves a proper artifact.”

Good for century rides, fondos, big climbs, gravel days, first big efforts, or that one ride that somehow became part of your personality.

Available now on Etsy.

Saw the Lidl-Trek Trek Bicycle Company team bikes for the Tour de France and immediately thought, “I have to make something like that. I love it too much.”

Not a concept for Trek. Not a replica. Just a graphic response to the color, movement, and energy of it.

Designers, what have you seen recently that made you want to stop what you were doing and make something?

For OZO, the starting point was this question: what if the brand could work from any direction?

Pickleball gear gets flipped, spun, dropped, photographed, packed, and played with. So we wanted a name and mark that could hold up however it landed.

That led us to creating the name OZO: three letters, easy to remember, and visually balanced.

The paddle graphics pulled from the geometry of the court itself. Lines, zones, circles, and angles became the foundation for a simple visual system, then we pushed it with bright color to make the gear feel vibrant in play and on the court.

The result was a pickleball brand language built around movement, visibility, and joy!

While putting together our recent black-and-white logo collection, we came back across this old Seaport Cocktail Co. concept.

The identity was built around nautical burgees, giving the brand a flexible flag system that could carry across packaging, signage, advertising, and customer-facing materials.

This project never made it into the real world, not because the work missed the mark, but because the project lost momentum for reasons outside the creative itself.

Not every strong concept gets produced, but good work does not need to stay buried just because it never launched.

After being inspired by the great and discovering this fun “curated favorites” trend, I immediately wanted to participate.

This was not an easy exercise. I intentionally left out my more typographic logotypes and focused on icons and symbols for brands I’ve had the privilege of designing for.

Holdfast Ranch is a rare kind of project.

A real North Idaho ranch. A family rooted here from before Idaho was even a state. A first true commercial step in cattle, built on something much bigger than cattle alone.

This brand is about preserving land, protecting a way of life that is disappearing, and building something worth carrying forward instead of carving it up into subdivisions. Part of that vision is a rodeo athlete sponsorship program that helps support the local culture surrounding it.

It’s been a privilege to help shape the brand, packaging, website, merchandise, and go-to-market foundation around something this real. More to come!
