Sorry for the lousy photos, the phone really struggled with the contrast. Here’s a job we did last year. Really high end Audiophile Dolby Atmos surround system. Customer brought his Wilson Audio towers and REL subwoofers, McIntosh amplifier and Acurus preamp from his last home. We supplied the Control4 system and remote, the 83” Sony OLED TV, Atmos speakers for front and surround, along with the remaining system components. We had to reinforce and modify the cabinet to allow it to hold the weight of the massive components. And to allow them to properly ventilate. I was back today for some minor tweaks.

Before and after with some during thrown in. Was hired to improve another installer’s mess. Installed a Samsung The Frame Tv that is only an inch thick and hugs right to the wall. They show artwork when the tv is off. Replaced the black Sonos Arc with a white one and decoupled them in appearance by installing the Arc on the mantle. Had to install an in-wall enclosure sized for the Samsung One Connect box behind the tv, along with WiFi controlled surge protection for easy resets. Last, installed some on wall Sonos Era 100’s for real surround sound. Nice result!

For F**** sake, don’t call me asking for purchase advice on products you want to buy from someone else!! I am not going to tell you that your “great deal” on some Amazon crap is a good replacement for my professional quality products. ESPECIALLY if you aren’t hiring me to install them. I’m going to share with you something people don’t like to talk about. I profit from the sale of products. I sell installations to facilitate the sale of profitable products. That’s my business model. The profit that I earn gets spent in our local community. Profit is not a dirty word. It keeps me employed, a roof over our heads and allows us to spend money that employs other people. Will you spend a little more to buy electronics from me? NO. My pricing is the same as the other large outlets. Will you spend a little more on accessories? Sometimes. Will you get a high quality product coupled with my expertise and 2 decades of experience? Yes. And my continuing support after the sale. Does Amazon respond to your text messages at 9pm??

Hey Ross, why are you such a pain in the butt about credit cards?? I'm glad you asked: Credit card fees hurt my small business. Sometimes I will get a (large) payment and the fee is over $300! I have to work two billable hours to pay for just receiving the money. Crazy! And, these fees just drive up the cost of consumer goods.

A little before and after action. We mounted the TV in this landmark home a few weeks back but took some time finding the right contractor to cut the surface and embed the wiring. The room was tented off to contain dust while the stone was cut. Job done today and I couldn’t be happier with the result.

Today we started the day by removing the dirty drop cloths from yesterday. Then we vacuumed the carpets and curtains because of the dust we had to make installing 6 surround speakers. Now, we are recovering the furniture in case there is any more dust in the air. Will remove them later in the week, when we hand the Theater over to the customer.
