This photo was first published in 1995. In the many decades since much has changed… much has stayed the same💔

I am wearing one out Nightsweats & T-cells shirts that also appeared on a character on ER that same year in the final episode directed by Quentin Tarantino.

Today is world AIDS Day. President Biden mention my friend Cornelius Baker who recently passed away. To my knowledge he was not HIV+, but fought to save my life as if he were fighting a battle that we could win. I am still here, but tens of millions are gone.

Grief is a sword or it is nothing.
Tell yourself that none of this ever had to happen, then with what breath you have left go make it stop!

35 years ago Nightsweats & T-cells began. Our sole purpose on day one was to give voice to the voiceless. A platform in the middle of the AIDS Crisis.
"ALL I WANT is the cure and my friends back" became our signature t-shirt and message.
Providing a paycheck to our employees living with HIV/AIDS while providing a space for their talent to flourish drove us through these many years.
Since that time there have been spin off organizations, Federal Legislation (Work Incentives Legislation), National Policy (National HIV/AIDS Policy) a myriad of artists and their fine artwork, allies (Broadwar Cares/Equity Fights AIDS, Kohl’stoo many organizations to name.
We look to face the coming decades with as much resolve as we have always held dear! Annoy Them... Survive!
