Jr and I got up early this morning to join some of our family at the 2022 Build a Bed Event, put on by JCPS and AmeriCorps as a part of the Mayor's Give A Day celebration. 80 beds were built for children in our community.

Can’t let the day end without wishing my son a Happy 5th Birthday! He is all that we prayed for and I am so proud to be his mommy! We partied this past weekend and today he shared cupcakes with his classmates and then requested sushi for dinner. Thank you to all those who celebrated with us, called, texted, sent tokens of love and warm wishes. ❤️ 😩
