We ran a quick data exercise to understand 𝗵𝗼𝘄 𝗳𝗮𝗿 𝗽𝗲𝗼𝗽𝗹𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗸 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝘆 𝗻𝗲𝗲𝗱 𝘁𝗼 𝗱𝗿𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗶𝗻 𝗮 𝗱𝗮𝘆, and the results were telling.

𝗕𝗮𝘀𝗲𝗱 𝗼𝗻 𝟰𝟱𝟰 𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗹 𝘀𝗲𝗹𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀:

• The median daily mileage is just 43 miles
• The most common choice sits around 30–35 miles
• The data is strongly right-skewed, meaning a small group of high-mileage drivers pulls the average up
• In other words: most people drive far less than they assume

Yet range anxiety remains one of the biggest blockers in EV shopping.

This gap between 𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗰𝗲𝗽𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝘃𝘀. 𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘆 is exactly why better EV education on dealership websites matters. When shoppers see data that reflects their actual driving behavior, confidence goes up, and hesitation goes down.

More data ≠ more complexity.

As we head into 2026, we’re taking a moment to reflect on a big year at 𝗟𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗿𝗶𝘂𝗺, and to thank the dealers and partners building alongside us.

In 2025, our focus stayed simple: helping dealerships merchandise 𝗘𝗩𝘀, 𝗣𝗛𝗘𝗩𝘀, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗛𝘆𝗯𝗿𝗶𝗱𝘀 with clearer, more useful data on their websites.

This year, that meant:

• Launching the Lectrium 𝗗𝗮𝘀𝗵𝗯𝗼𝗮𝗿𝗱
• Expanding 𝗵𝘆𝗯𝗿𝗶𝗱 𝗺𝗲𝗿𝗰𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗶𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗴 alongside EVs
