There’s an old swing hanging from a tree somewhere in North Carolina. No batteries. No screens. No instructions. Just a wooden seat, two chains, and a whole lot of memories. But that swing never did much on its own. Somebody had to be there. Somebody had to give it a push. And for all the things artificial intelligence can do, it can't replace what happens when people show up for one another.

Hi, we’re the team at TMS Digital in Clayton. Well, most of us. You know how hard it is to get everybody together at the same time.

We’re human. We make mistakes, we learn from them, and we get better. Marketing has never been a straight line. It’s working through problems, trying things, changing course when something doesn’t work, and sitting down together to figure out what comes next.

Between us, we’ve got decades of marketing experience, and we use it to help businesses navigate a world where marketing changes about every fifteen minutes and AI has given everybody the same tools.

The tools are useful. But tools don’t listen to you, understand your business, or sit around a table working through a problem with you.

8/20 we proved our resilience, strength, and many of the reasons we're the best BNI in North Raleigh! With ongoing HVAC maintenance at our usual meeting spot, we secured a temporary meeting space (thank you 🤩), curated a lunch menu, and assigned roles to bring it all together!
On this super fabulous A/C day, we heard from a couple members of our B2B team: Kirstyn M. Yancy of TMS Digital and Dylan Willis of Venture Law.
This was Dylan's first presentation since returning to our great group and he had a bit of new information about Venture so we could be (re)introduced to the locally-owned commercial firm. After the (re)introduction, we played a bit of legal trivia and candy! It was about 50-50 for the crowd answering correctly - all the more proof to hire an attorney!!
Kirstyn shared some embarrassing photos while informing us all the while about what search engines REALLY care about. What they're really *hungry* for. Guess what? It's not AI-generated content. hungry, EEAT... see, we made a [very bad] joke. 😅😂

Labor Day is happening. It is always the first Monday of September. It is a federal holiday. It has been happening for 135 years. Thank you President Grover Cleveland.
