It’s not often your work reaches all the way across the country. This Jeep came in for a little personalization before making the 4,000 mile journey home to North Pole, Alaska!

The hood piece is the new logo for my client’s overlanding truck business,@ designed by Crim Design Co.

The brand is Arctic Overland. Previously they used a standard compass rose. It worked, but it didn’t reduce well. Playing on that element, I simplified the compass down and tucked in an AOV for Arctic Overland. The degree symbol, while relating to the compass also doubles as the famous “midnight sun” that keeps part Alaska from total darkness for 2 months of the year.

The rocker design incorporates their brand as well in a playful way. The design makes a play on the radio flyer wagons from back in the day. Fits pretty well for this little red wagon.

The last pic was sent to me by my client. She’s in her natural habitat with all kinds of new upgrades since I saw her. Definitely ready to tackle AK in style.

It’s been busy at Crim Design Co lately and things haven’t gotten posted that should have been. Here is one we did a little while back for our local Veteran’s hospital. If you know my family we all have great respect for the men and women that served and continue to serve our country and keep us safe. It was a great pleasure to do this wall emblem for them in the main lobby.

We’ve had a lot going on as of late. The new building I progressing nicely. Thanks to Cottrills, we now have our retaining wall completed. Ben Gongola is doing the excavations and all the lines are in. Next comes the concrete. I’ll keep you posted!

Super excited to design this year’s shirt for the Strawberry Mile! The preregistration response was awesome so there will be a bunch of these going out to participants!
