One of the key points that I have learned over the years in helping small businesses market themselves online through their websites and through photography and videos is to be authentic. I don't believe you have to use gimmicks to gain an audience.

This is one of my customers, Hall Apiaries who is a very good beekeeper and is authentic in helping people learn how to be a better beekeeper. We learn from each other, while shooting these videos, I have learned so much about beekeeping and its importance in our world. I hope you enjoy!

I posted this on my personal page but decided to post it on my business page. I was a fine arts major in college and learned photography using a 35mm, black and white manual camera. Digital photography has come a long way, but the principles of a camera are still the same. I wouldn't consider myself a professional photographer, but more of an amateur learning more and getting better. Here are some nighttime shots using an 11mm, f1.4 Sony lens. I had fun taking these.

One part of my job that I have enjoyed the most in the tech world is doing some videography. I am normally working behind a network box, pulling wires or programming equipment or websites. Over the past few months, I have taken on a new project of shooting and producing videos for one of my customers. This has been so much fun and I have learned a lot about bees!
