ChromeLED expands its existing COB lines with the new efficient yet powerful CE-R14. Chip-On-Boards are designed mainly to be used in solid-state lighting and are extremely ideal for home lighting (bulb lights, downlights and fluorescent lights). They have the advantage of a high density luminous flux that generates consistent uniformity with fewer glares, less layers of thermal resistance, convenient assembly, and better efficiency.

ChromeLED’s CE-R14 features a 120° viewing angle with maximum 1440 mA forward current, all packed into a 23mmx17mm packaging. Driven at a standard condition of 720 mA, the CE-R14 produces a luminous flux of 1000 lumens to 1495 lumens, depending on the selected color bin. Color temperature ranges from warm white at 2870K to cool white at 7040K, allowing design flexibility for different lighting applications. The CE-R14 comes with a standard 80 CRI index which is desirable in color-critical applications such as photography and cinematography. Production quantity will sell for around US$5 with a standard 6 weeks lead time.

In the constantly growing field of visible LED’s, it’s easy to forget advancements in UV LED’s that has allowed an increase in product innovation and application. Combining long life, performance, and cost savings, UV LED’s have made their way into multiple fields including medical, forensics, and cosmetics. Some typical uses include sterilization of surface area, optical sensors, fingerprint detection, and nail curing.

ChromeLED offers a broad range of UV LED, including unique high power products. Two such examples are CSHG2835UV4C and CSHC44LU1C0. CSHG2835UV4C is a 3.5mm x 2.8mm x 0.8mm PLCC UV LED that provides a 120° viewing angle. Driven at 150 mA, the average power output is at 120mW and a typical wavelength of 400 nm. CSHC44LU1C0 is a 4.4mm x 4.4mm 3W UV LED that features a metal design with quartz glass lens and superior ESD protection. Driven at 700mA, the average power output is 500 mW and a typical wavelength of 410.

ChromeLED offers the standard seven segment and alphanumeric surface mount displays, ranging in sizes from 0.20” to 0.56”, and offered in single digits up to quad digits.
