Marelux Releases the MV24 Macro View Wet Lens: Switch Between Macro and Wide-Angle Underwater in Seconds
The MV24 Macro View Wet Lens, a compact wet lens that ends the classic underwater dilemma of choosing between macro and wide-angle setups.
Mounting directly onto a standard M67 macro port, the MV24 instantly converts a 90mm, 100mm, or 105mm macro lens into a 24mm wide-angle optical system—wide enough for most scenic shots without the bulk of traditional setups. Measuring just 145.9mm long and 88.6mm in diameter, it attaches or removes underwater via an M67 thread or quick-release dock, letting you switch between macro and wide-angle in seconds. It also works with single or double flip holders.
Although it weighs 943g on land (mount it just before entering the water to avoid straining the flip adapter), it is highly buoyant—dropping to only 160g underwater for effortless handling.

Marelux Welcomes Award-Winning Expedition Photographer Grant Thomas as Brand Ambassador.
Grant Thomas is an award-winning underwater and expedition photographer whose work has taken him from tropical reefs and remote islands to the polar regions at the ends of the Earth.
Originally from Scotland, Grant’s passion for the ocean has developed into a career combining underwater photography, expedition guiding and photographic education. He spends much of the year travelling and working in some of the world’s most spectacular marine environments, with a particular passion for photographing large marine wildlife and telling stories that help people connect with the natural world.
His work has received recognition in numerous international photography competitions, including British Underwater Photographer of the Year, Nature TTL Photographer of the Year, the British Photography Awards and the World Shootout. His photography has also been published and licensed internationally.
Alongside his own photography, Grant works as an expedition and photography guide in both polar regions and leads underwater photography workshops around the world. Whether photographing humpback whales in the South Pacific, wildlife among the ice of Antarctica and the Arctic, or the biodiversity of tropical reefs, he is constantly searching for images that capture both the scale and intimacy of the natural world.
Now working with Marelux, Grant is excited to begin a new chapter in his underwater photography and continue pushing his creativity in some of the most challenging and extraordinary environments on the planet.

We're thrilled to have you on board as our brand influencer.
Kaito Miyazawa is an underwater photographer from Japan. Fascinated by the ocean from an early age, he began diving at the age of 10 in 2010.
After becoming a diving instructor in 2021, he officially started his career as an underwater photographer following his photo exhibition held in 2023. Currently based in Japan, he travels across the world’s oceans — including Tonga, Mexico, the United States, Thailand, Taiwan, Fiji, and Africa — capturing large marine life under the theme of “connecting with marine creatures and documenting fleeting moments.” In addition to photography, he is also involved in film and video production, specializing in underwater cinematography and underwater coordination. His work ranges from human dramas set underwater to environmental projects such as “Coral Bleaching,” which documents coral bleaching caused by environmental issues, covering a wide variety of genres through the ocean.
