Every time I tried to control everything, God let it fall apart.
Not to punish me, but to teach me how to lead.

Leadership without surrender is not leadership.
It is pride dressed up as responsibility.

I remember the season where I pushed harder and harder.
The more I forced results, the more things broke.
Business. Peace. Patience.
Even the atmosphere in my home.

And God made it clear.
“You are carrying weight I never asked you to carry.”

That one sentence changed everything.

When a man surrenders his leadership to God, he becomes stronger.
Because his leadership is no longer built on fear or ego.
It is built on alignment and purpose.

So now, before I lead my team or my family, I surrender the outcome.
I ask for alignment, not control.
Purpose, not panic.

Surrender is not weakness.
It is the strongest form of leadership a man can walk in.

I lost a sale once, and it pi**ed me off.
Not because of the money, but because I realized I got soft.

I let the prospect lead.
I let them control the frame.
I let their story become the truth instead of holding them to the real truth.

That call taught me three non negotiables every closer needs.

Frame or fail. If you do not own the call in the first 60 seconds, you are done.

Do not buy the first objection. It is almost always a smoke screen.

Pressure is not bad. Sloppy pressure is. Real pressure is clarity, not desperation.

Sales is not therapy.
If you cannot lead the prospect, you cannot close the prospect.

Losing that deal made me sharper.
Sometimes losing is the slap you need to remember who you are.

Here is why your sales team is not scaling at the same speed as your business.

Most founders scale lead flow, but they never scale expectations.
Your reps are still operating with the same standards you had at 100k a month, while you are trying to run a 1 million a month operation.

When the business levels up, the standards must level up too.
New numbers.
New accountability.

If you want to turn average reps into killers, here is the 15 minute training session I run inside every seven to nine figure sales team.

Pick one losing call from yesterday.
Play the exact moment the deal died, not the whole call.
Give the rep the exact language they should have used.

Then make them run that same moment back to you twice.
No reading. No scripts. Real talk only.

If they cannot articulate it clean in training, they will never fix it on a live call.

Then have the entire team repeat the same fix.
