Having a lot of fun drawing marketing materials for Haunted Mountain. Get out and support the arts and have a blast doing it!

When you step onto Haunted Mountain, you’re getting more than a night of classic Halloween fun. The screams, scares, creepy characters, and things lurking in the dark are all part of something bigger.

Every ticket you purchase helps support the Scioto Society and our mission to keep the arts alive and thriving in Chillicothe and our community.

So come get scared. Bring your friends. Make some memories. And feel good knowing that every scream helps support live entertainment, creativity, and the arts right here at home.

This Halloween season, don’t just scream because you’re scared…

SCREAM FOR THE ARTS!

A quick update on Chillicothe Band & Marching Band Festival pre-orders

First, we want to sincerely apologize for the delay in getting your Chillicothe Band and Marching Band Festival merchandise out.

The gentleman who normally helps us produce these products unexpectedly fell ill, which left us scrambling to find another way to get everything produced and into your hands as quickly as possible.

The good news is that we’ve found an alternate production solution and are currently working hard to get every outstanding order completed.

To make sure the Marching Band Festival T-shirts arrive in time for this weekend’s event, those shirts are being delivered directly to each school’s band director for distribution.

We know many of you have been patiently waiting, and we truly appreciate your understanding while we work through an unexpected and difficult situation.

Thank you for supporting South of Columbus Creative and a small local business. Your patience and support mean more to us than you know, and we’re working hard to make sure everyone gets their order as quickly as possible.

Thank you again for sticking with us.

The 2026 CHILLERCOTHE COLLECTION IS LIVE!

Our favorite time of year has officially arrived, and this year’s Chillercothe Collection is crawling out of the shadows.

Featuring all-new artwork, spooky new merch, and the return of everyone’s favorite local ghoul, The Chillicothe Creeper!

It’s creepy. It’s weird. It’s unmistakably Chillicothe.

Celebrate spooky season, love where you’re from, and get your hands on the new 2026 Chillercothe Collection while it lasts.

Welcome back to CHILLERCOTHE.

Growing up, I was absolutely fascinated by classic horror movies. There was something magical about sitting beside my dad late at night, the glow of the TV flickering as Night Owl Theater came on. I can still remember the eerie intro, the creak of the floorboards, and the feeling of both excitement....

I recently got the chance to create some new artwork for Haunted Mountain, and this project was right up my alley.

Every creepy character, twisted detail, and weird little idea was hand drawn digitally from scratch. No stock illustrations. No pre-made characters.

Just me, a blank canvas, and a lot of hours drawing.
That's something I want South of Columbus Creative to be known for. There's a real person behind the work.

When you hire South of Columbus, you're hiring me and I genuinely love getting my hands on projects like this.

Especially when I get to make things a little weird.

Thanks to Haunted Mountain for trusting me with it.

Something wicked is coming…

This might just be our favorite time of year.

The weather starts cooling down. The nights get a little longer. The horror movies come back into rotation. And around here, that means it’s almost time for CHILLERCOTHE.

We’ve been back in the crypt working on this year’s collection, and we’re getting VERY close to letting these monsters loose.

New artwork. New ghouls. New creepy creations. Same love for Chillicothe and all things spooky.

We seriously love making this collection every year, and we think this one might be our favorite yet.

CHILLERCOTHE 2026 — COMING SOON.

Stay spooky, Chillicothe.
