Another successful year out at Commencement! 🎓

This one definitely kept us on our toes with high winds from Friday through Sunday, but the crew pushed through and we got it done!

This year’s setup included:
• 24x HDL30-A for mains, side fills, and front fills
• 8x .acoustics.official SB28 subs
• 120x 3.9mm LED panels

Out with the old, in with the new. 🔊✨

After 16 years, the original JBL center cluster at Center for the Arts has taken its final bow.

Now flying 12 HDL6s with a dual 19” sub—a rig that’s half the size, twice the power, providing even coverage, clarity, and low end.

I started mixing in this room back in 2014 when I was in high school—so it was an honor to come back and design and install this new system!

Here’s to the next chapter. 🎭

Happy Birthday, Straus! 🎉

If you’ve ever been by the shop or caught us out in the field, chances are you’ve run into Matthew (Straus). Coming up on 5 years with North State AV, he’s been a huge part of what keeps everything running smoothly day in and day out.

From keeping our gear dialed and our fleet in top shape, to being an excellent hand in the field be it monitor land, FOH, or even overseeing a load in/out, Straus is a major assets to the team.
