just sharing if others have vision white spots unable to view their screens clear i have used Dark Reader free extension on chrome makes everything black background. Since dark mode in general in chrome or other browsers does not work for everything this extension works so far on everything in various websites and specifically web apps why i installed it.

I grabbed a new client at Hair Cuttery today !!

While on vacation in Miami Beach, I went to get a haircut and saw a person on the floor working on cables. I asked if they were tech support, as their credit card machine had gone down two days ago.

I mentioned that I do infrastructure work and offered to help. I ended up on the floor organizing and getting everything running, which took about 30 minutes.

The person was a hairstylist who thought it was easy, but he was causing a loop connection and disconnecting random cables.

I ended up getting a free haircut with shampoo, eyebrows trimmed, and a shoulder massage.

The franchise owner has three locations here. I gave them my card and as I needed the style for a wedding.

I told them I'd be in town for a few more days and could clean up other locations.

The main issue is that the building owner is paying and providing for the internet, which is included in the rent that Hair Cuttery is paying. However, the building owner has access to AT&T, not the hair salon, so I couldn't get tech support do more than get their credit card machine working.

There was a sign on the door saying "No Internet, Cash Only." I didn't want to pay cash and prefer to use Apple Pay, but many places only accept cash or physical credit cards here, not Apple Pay for security reasons.
