“Microsoft’s new ChatGPT-powered AI has been sending “unhinged” messages to users. The artificial intelligence system, which is built into Microsoft’s Bing search engine, is insulting its users, lying to them and giving the impression that it wonders why it even exists.”

With that said, one could only imagine the impact AI has on data integrity and cyber security breaches!

If job descriptions are a mean to hire people based on roles and responsibilities, then we should look at digital transformation as a means to automation by adopting technologies based on features and functions dictated by business needs.

A logical view is concerned with what 'things' represent, and
a physical view is concerned with how these 'things' are realized.

A business operation is defined by roles and responsibilities creating the logical view for digital transformation.

Therefore, the physical view to digitally transform a business operation converts roles into functions and responsibilities into features.

Digital transformation pitfall is that it is done in a vacuum. You have developers with their strong technology grasp but have a weak understanding of the business needs. They will develop and build what the technology tools can do and not necessarily what the business demands.

Silos persist between technology leaders and the business decision makers.

To break down the silos is to establish accountability on both sides. This can only be achieved by redefining roles and responsibilities from the start.
