Working with Gichigamiin Indigenous Nations Museum

Many new things are happening at Gichigamiin Indigenous Nations Museum in Evanston, IL that the home page needed to reflect that more. From a new name and logo (formerly Mitchell Museum of the American Indian) to new exhibits, we knew we needed to create something that could pack all of the information on one screen easily for visitors to stay up to date.

NEW Exhibit at KHS! Deep Dive: A History of Kenilworth’s Water Infrastructure and Lakefront

We collaborated with the exhibits committee to feature historic maps, photographs and artifacts from the decommissioned water plant. Kenilworth has always been shaped by water. When the village was established, Lake Michigan defined its eastern boundary, providing a water source as well as opportunities for recreation. At the same time, water posed ongoing challenges, from flooding to the need for reliable infrastructure as the community grew.
