Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration has conducted very very expensive "surveys" on over the last 5 years. The results of these surveys always disappear into obscurity. To this day, no solution has been provided from these efforts. This outcome is intentional.
Do you know why??

Don't expect results of studies of the issues soon, however. More imminent is establishment of FMCSA's Truck Leasing Task Force. More on Overdrive.
