Hi, friends of 502. Just wanted to update everyone on this year's installment of the Philly Rock Comp Series. We will not be releasing volume 7 as planned for October this year, which has been the traditional release month since we started. We've been keeping this quiet, but Doug was unfortunately involved in a hit-and-run accident in May, and suffered a fractured pelvis among other related injuries. Such as it is, he is simply not recovering as fast as he or anyone would have liked, and as a result we have been unable to get things organized without his experience and love for what we do here. Honestly, it wouldn't be the same without him leading the charge.
That said, we plan to release Volume 7 toward the end of year and will be reaching out to everyone about it this summer. That said, please check out the many active and awesome bands and artists on our bandcamp page, and look for many of them at a venue, basement show or dumpster fire near you in the meantime.
Thanks for your time and support over the years, and we'll look forward to seeing everyone at the shows soon!
