Scroll through half a dozen local business websites, and you'll find multiple headlines calling the company "the best" or " # 1" in their market.
As recently as a year ago, a headline like that was enough to get AI to repeat it. Now, it's stopped working.
AI tools do deep research on your business across reviews, images, videos, and other websites, so a claim with no proof behind it gives them nothing to back it up.
IMPACT coach, Brian Casey's advice is to earn the conclusion. Give buyers and AI enough evidence to decide you're the best on their own:
- The same local award, won five years in a row, listed by year
- More reviews and a higher rating that you competitors, with new ones coming in regularly
- Photos and videos of your team at work, plus how long everyone has been with you
- A clear explanation of your process and who you're a good fit for
You can still write "best of" content and have that copy on your website. You just have to have the proof to back it up.
What other proof have you added (or want to add) to your website?
