Our new Robotics Club starts the first week of November — two hours a week of LEGO SPIKE builds, mBot robot cars that follow lines and dodge obstacles, and AI kits that show kids how machines actually make decisions.
Ages 7+, all drag-and-drop block coding, no experience needed. Every kit and robot is provided. Your coder just brings curiosity (and a friend).
Saturdays at Farmington, Glastonbury and Cheshire. Thursdays at Branford. Spots are limited — each club runs once enough coders are signed up, so don't wait on this one.

Every kid in this room plays Roblox. These ones are building it. 🚀
That's Roblox Studio on the screen — not the game, the tool the game gets built with. Playing Roblox and building in Roblox Studio are two completely different things: in here they design the world, animate what moves in it, and write the code that makes it run.
Right now it's a maze going down block by block. One wall in the wrong spot and the level stops working — so they test it, fix it, then hand it over for someone else to try and beat. Coach right there beside them, 1:1 or 2:1.

Your kid can get AI to write the code. That's the easy part. 🚀
Ask a chatbot for a game and something comes back in seconds. What doesn't come back is a kid who knows why it broke, which line to change, or whether the idea was worth building at all.
That's what the coach sitting next to them is for. Our coders plan it first, build it for real, then read and test and fix every piece — until they can explain exactly how the thing works.

From a blank screen to a whole galaxy. 🚀
Scratch starts as a pile of colored blocks and an empty stage. A few sessions in, there's a planet that orbits, a sprite that talks back, and a game that actually runs — built by kids who started with no idea how.
Then something breaks. They hunt down the bug, fix it, run it again. That stubbornness is the real thing we're teaching.

Our coders now work in a real AI stack — VS Code, Replit, Claude, Codex, Gemini. They plan the project, prompt the tool, then read, test, and fix whatever comes back.
That last part is the whole point. AI can write code fast; the kid who can debug it is the one who stays valuable. Every session is 1:1 or 2:1 with a coach sitting right there.
