Array Digital Growth feels inevitable when powered by Array. For seven figure law firms ready to scale.

Before entering a new market, ask:
"How can we help?"

Not:
"How much business can we get?"

That's one of the lessons Burke Brown shares in this week's episode of The Managing Partners Podcast.

The firms that earn trust long term are the ones that show up with something to give, not something to take.

Array first became real as a name on a whiteboard.

A team in Kevin’s office. Sticky notes. Ideas added, narrowed, and removed until one name stayed.

Array.

At the time, it was just a name. Since then, it has grown into a company, a team, a system, and a brand that better reflects the firms we serve and the work we do.

A strong brand gives growth direction. It helps people understand what you stand for, what they can expect from you, and why your work is different before the first conversation begins.

For law firms, brand cannot sit apart from growth. It has to show up in how the firm is found, how trust is built, how intake responds, and how each opportunity moves toward a signed case.

The name on the board was the beginning.

The work since then has been making sure everything behind it is intentional.

You wouldn’t want your clients doing their own legal work.

Using AI.
Guessing their way through it.

You’d tell them to trust an expert.

But when it comes to hiring,

many firms try to figure it out themselves.

Even though it’s just as critical.

The same principle applies.

Know enough to guide it.

But bring in experts to do it right.

Growth becomes easier to manage when every part of the firm works from the same strategy.

How people find your firm, understand why you are the right fit, contact intake, and become signed cases cannot be treated as separate efforts.

Disconnected marketing, intake, and follow-up create missed opportunities.

Your firm needs a marketing system built around clear positioning, consistent ex*****on, and better signed-case outcomes.

Resumes used to matter more.

Now they’re just a starting point.

Most are polished.
Some are exaggerated.

And with AI, even easier to fake.

So the real signal isn’t on paper.

It’s how someone shows up.

How they think.
How they communicate.

Because that’s what actually translates to the job.

We appreciate John taking the time to share this.

Clear thinking, honest feedback, and a focus on what actually matters is what we aim to bring into every engagement. When that comes through on the other side, it means the system is doing its job.

Most founders try to do everything.

Run the firm.
Grow the business.
Handle operations.

That’s where things break.

Real growth starts with a number two.

Someone who can run the business side.

So you can stay in your lane.

Because you don’t scale alone.

Some firms grow for years on referrals alone. It works for a period of time.

Over time, growth becomes harder to predict. Volume is inconsistent, case mix varies, and there is limited visibility into what is driving results.

That is where an additional channel becomes necessary.

In this case, the goal was not to replace referrals. It was to build alongside them. A system that supports inbound demand through search, content, and local visibility, and connects that demand directly to intake.

Over a single quarter, that system started producing consistent inbound volume.

This created a consistent layer of inbound growth, with clearer visibility into performance and how results are produced.

Most firms don’t look at their numbers often enough.

Not in detail.

Not consistently.

But small issues show up there first.

A charge that shouldn’t be there.

A department that isn’t performing.

Something slightly off.

Monthly reviews catch it early.

Before it turns into a bigger problem.

Inconsistent signed case performance is attributed to channels.

Spend and effort are adjusted across channels to stabilize volume.

The variation occurs at the system level.

Handoffs, standards, and intake handling vary by source.

Once a case-level attribution system is in place, variability is reduced and measurable through signed cases.
