What great fun it was to see our beloved w**emakers on film! Born and raised in Greece, and now residing in Maryland, filmmaker Chrisa Giorgi created a great and informative documentary about our terrific Virginia W**e Country that was recently released. Join us alongside Maison Vie Experiences for a special afternoon “On Beauty” featuring Charlotte Moss & Margot Shaw.
This one afternoon in Richmond explores the inspiration behind the works of celebrated author & designer Charlotte Moss and author, and founder and publisher of the renowned Flower magazine Margot Shaw. Together these friends share where they are inspired, and how beauty shapes the way we live. Both women reflect on how these concepts guided their recent books At Home in Virginia and Flowering Outdoors.
Join us at Richmond’s Museum of History and Culture for an afternoon of keynote conversation and book signing beginning at 1:30. The day continues with an exclusive dinner held at Richmond’s Branch Museum with cocktails, dinner, and special remarks from Charlotte and Margot. Well you can’t say we don’t do our part for w**emaking in Virginia W**e Country! Thanks to the efforts of many stomping guests, w**emaker Boela Ge**er of Southwest Mountain Vineyard is well on his way to completing harvest. If you want to take part in this original processing tradition, this is the last weekend at several Virginia locations. Visit Bluemont Vineyards in Northern Virginia or Veramar Vineyards in the Shenandoah Valley for their final stomping weekend.
