As we near the end of Windows 10 support in October here are some FAQs:

Will W10 stop working? No, it will work, but won't get important updates including security updates. However, as of now, Windows Security (Defender) AV will continue updating.

Is there a way to extend support? Yes, there are three ways that will be provided soon in the update section of your computer. One, create or sign into a Microsoft Account if you don't have one. It is worded as "backup" in the choices. Two, earn 1000 rewards points by using Bing, Edge, Xbox, App Store...
Three, pay Microsoft $30 for one year of updates.

Heads up to everyone. Windows 10 is nearing the end of support in October of this year as of the latest known info from Microsoft. If a machine does not have an 8th gen CPU (roughly 7-8 years old)or higher, TPM 2.0 chip and UEFI capability, it can't be upgraded to Windows 11. Several options are available if your machine is too old for 11. Feel free to drop by and speak with us about it. Thanks for a great 14 years in Waxhaw. We love our customers.
