Tech Tip Tuesday:
Here is a quick way to use an email to create a calendar event in the Outlook app.
1. Click on the email you want to convert to an Outlook calendar appointment.
2. Holding down the left mouse key, drag the email to your Calendar folder and drop it.
3. The new calendar appointment dialog will appear with the email subject in the appointment Subject line. Edit the appointment with information as needed including invitee(s) etc.
4. Once you have the appointment information set the way you want, click the Save and Close button
This only works in the Outlook app but there is a similar function in the web-based version by activating the My Day feature and dragging emails into your calendar or adding them as a task.
