One of my favorite things about starting this company with Celia has been seeing the way the community of Charlotte has supported us! Sometimes it’s easy to be hard on our city. But, I have once again been reminded of how beautiful the hearts of the people who live here actually are. Anyone who has ever sat in my classroom, shared a meal with me, or even met me, knows about my sister, Sally. She is the most precious and amazing woman I know. After an incredibly difficult year (read more in link on bio), she is now facing the reality of a liver transplant and once again, the Charlotte community has brought me to tears with their unbelievable support.
