⛪️ KINGVILLE ACADEMY CHURCH TOUR — ST. DELIGHT

Another church has officially been added to the Kingville Academy Church Tour, and this stop carries a powerful preservation story of its own.

Join Stanly Avengers, Inc. on Sunday, October 18, 2026, from 11 AM–2 PM at St. Delight, 520 Wall Street, Albemarle, NC, as Dion Brooks, Founder & Executive Director of Stanly Avengers, Inc., shares the history, progress, and vision of the Kingville Academy Project.

We’re grateful to Pastor Edward Barrino and First Lady Tina Barrino for the invitation and opportunity to bring the presentation to St. Delight.

This stop is especially meaningful because St. Delight’s story connects naturally to the heart of the Kingville Academy mission. Along with sharing the vision for Kingville Academy, we’ll also recognize the church’s own historic Rock Church legacy — a reminder that preserving the places that carried our faith, families, and community history matters.

Before the Campus, There Was the Church.

Honoring the Rock Church Legacy.
Celebrating the Ministry Still Standing.

Our Stanly Avengers B.E.A.T.S. Youth Workshop & Wellness Series connects young people with hands-on experiences in skilled trades, STEM, arts, healthcare, and entrepreneurship—while building confidence, leadership, teamwork, and emotional awareness.

Through our collaboration with Stanly Community College and wellness partners like Shawna Canada’s Dapper Elite Academy, we’re helping students explore what they can do and discover who they can become.
