4 years married to the love of my life, and the moment my love for wedding paper began!!

Tbh I knew next to nothing about paper back then, but I had a graphic design degree, a looove for design and a vision of all the pretty flatlays I kept seeing online. With the help of lots of random Etsy vendors and my hometown printer (s/o Casey), I made it work!! The single most important thing to me was cohesion - every font, every color, every teeny detail needed to look and feel completely seamless. That standard is such a core part of what Westgate Creative is built on today.

Looking back on these photos, it’s easy to pick out a dozen things I’d do differently with the experience I have now. But I’m so grateful for the learning experience and genuinely can’t believe all that has happened in the past four years (both professionally and personally). Happy anniversary to my love and to the sweetest beginning of my wedding stationery journey 🤍

Two weddings in one weekend for the same couple? Sign me up!! Ashley + Didi welcomed guests to a traditional Igbo wedding on Friday, followed by an American wedding on Saturday. Creating paper that bridged two distinct cultures and celebrations was an honor, and seeing everything come to life so beautifully was actual magic 💫

Abby + Conner 🌸 the colors of summer! Forever obsessed with how we weaved bold, summery hues into this elegant and sooo stunning day. Cotton and Bow brought all our watercolor dreams to life, Charleston Wedding Planner amazed me once again with her ex*****on of all the paper goodies, and AARON & JILLIAN PHOTOGRAPHY captured it all to perfection. My first Christmas wedding with Westgate was oh so magical!! And a full circle moment - my parents were married at Christmastime, and I spent so many hours as a child looking through their wedding album, mesmerized by the magic of it all.

Auburn + Matthew’s day captured the same timeless Christmas charm, from the foil-pressed invitations and ornament die-cut to the festive day-of details. It was so special to be a part of their day ♥️ cheers to the Clearys!
