ALITTLE TIME FOR ME ❤️
A Little Time for Me ❤️
I’ve been taking a break from Facebook and, honestly, from posting much of anything lately. I wanted to be open and honest with everyone about why.
Between all the shows, running the store, keeping up with the auctions, our other store in Hot Springs, and just life in general, things have really started to take a toll on me. It’s been an incredible ride, and I’m incredibly grateful for every bit of it, but this past week has made me realize something important: I need to step back for a little while.
And to be completely honest, this past 2 weeks away from social media has been a blessing. My mental clarity is better. My mood is better. My attitude is better. I’ve been able to slow down, breathe, and actually enjoy life again. ❤️
That’s not an easy thing for me to admit because this business means so much to me. Beyond Agate Adventures, Lauzon’s Fairburns and Fossils, the auctions, the shows, the rock community, and all of you who have supported me over the years — this has become a huge part of my life. I’ve put my heart, my time, and countless hours into building something that I’m incredibly proud of.
So please understand that stepping away isn’t because I’m giving up. It’s because I need to take care of myself so I can come back better.
For now, I’m going to continue focusing on myself, my family, my businesses, and enjoying some of the things that got me into this crazy rock-hounding adventure in the first place. 🪨❤️
We WILL be back. Eventually, we’ll get back to our live sales, auctions, new finds, store updates, shows, and all the fun things we’ve always done. There are still plenty of adventures ahead!

Thank you to everyone who has shared a post, placed a bid, stopped by the store, came to a show, or simply followed along.
Thank you to the people who have become friends and family along this journey.
And thank you to everyone who genuinely cares.
I appreciate your business more than you probably realize, but even more than that, I appreciate the people behind it. You have all been a very special part of my life, and I’ll never take that for granted.
Sometimes you just have to step away, clear your head, and remember why you started in the first place.
