Seems some folks have had issues transferring data from their old phone to a brand new iPhone 15. Apparently the answer is upgrading the software first, before transferring your data.

“When I plug in my charger it won’t stay plugged in and take a charge.” This often happens to folks who keep their phone in pants pockets as lint just naturally gets sucked into the phone. I’m more than happy to clean out the inner crevices of your charging ports and speaker holes.

This stuff was pulled out of the charging port.

Hey friends… my friends at Camp Chisomo are in need of your used iPhones… iPhone 7 and newer.

Oftentimes older cell phones find new life overseas. However, as the software makers continue to upgrade software, they also stop supporting older models and some software providers shutdown old versions.

Camp’s fleet of iPhone 5S’s in Malawi can no longer support WhatsApp, which is the most cost effective and primary method of communication both in-country and internationally.

If you have an iPhone 7 or newer, please reach out to me if you’d be interested in a tax-deductible gift to Camp. I’ll put fresh batteries in them and take care of any other repairs before they go into use.

FOUND IPAD!!! A client found an iPad recently on a public street. Please help us find the owner!

The iPad has given us a few clues… I believe the owner to live in Marion on or near 21st Street.

Broken phone??? Trade it in! Verizon to announce new program April 1. Potentially highest trade-ins Verizon has offered to date.

It appears there will be some fine print. Available to current and new customers, but requires adding a line according to this announcement.

Normally, I’m busy fixing broken phones in order for them to be eligible for trade-in. This time you can just trade them. More details to follow.
