Someone just called from 505-235-2853 telling me that I need to pay my PNM bill or my electricity will shut off. Check your PNM bill. PNM will never call to threaten you.

Today one of my customers called and told me about a scam from "Clear Rate Communications". Clear Rate Communications is misrepresenting themselves saying they have been subcontracted by Lumens, who now owns CenturyLink, to service small rural areas, and that my Customer will save $40/month going with "Clear Rate Communications" instead of CenturyLink. My Customer was assured there would be no changes from CenturyLink, and that all the lines were still CenturyLinks'.

Unfortunately, today "Clear Rate Communications" called my Customer saying they are going to switch out the CenturyLink modems to Clear Rate Communications' modems.

We researched Clear Rate Communications on Bing, Google, and Safari finding out that they have a 1 star rating on most complaint websites like the BBB because of their unscrupulous business practices in getting new customers and then not giving them good service afterwards. Therefore, we decided to not switch to Clear Rate Communications because of any future problems we may get. Better safe than sorry.

Hello Everyone!

Just got a telephone call from a scammer who wanted me to call Walgreens on Isleta and Rio Bravo at 844-924-7733 to pick up a prescription. After looking it up online, I found out it is a known Walgreen's drug store scam.
