“But apple said my iPhone is waterproof” One of the most common statements that a repair technician will hear. Apple Does not State that their phone is waterproof or liquid proof. Only resistant, and as your Phone ages, so do the small, thin gaskets around the back glass, the screen and the buttons allowing water to come in. Back up your phone to iCloud. If your phone does get wet. Shut it off. Immediately. Let it completely dry for 24 hours and then charge it or turn it on.
