Job Description:
Sound and Cellular, a leading provider in the communication technology industry, is currently seeking a dynamic and skilled individual to join our Two-Way Radio Outside Sales Department. As a Two-Way Radio Outside Sales Technician, you will play a crucial role in the programming and installation of two-way radio equipment and cellular boosters. This position involves both shop work and occasional day trips for site installations or maintenance.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Programming and Installation:
• Program and install two-way radio equipment and cellular boosters in vehicles.
• Perform installations on commercial sites, industrial sites, towers, etc.
2. Shop Work:
• Conduct shop-based work, focusing on programming, testing, repair, and equipment preparation.
• Cleaning and organizing
3. Site Visits:
• Make day trips for on-site installations and maintenance.
• Site visit days may extend past regular working hours.
Qualifications:
• Familiarity with shop-based work and equipment testing.
• Ability to travel for day trips to various sites.
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Schedule and Compensation:
• Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
• Occasional extended hours during site visit days.
• Starting pay at $18 per hour; compensation negotiable based on experience.
