Empowered Planning & Leadership offers facilitation, leadership development, and community engagement to help teams navigate important decisions and build collaboration.

When the client first came to us, they shared an idea they had come up with for their logo design. However, the original logo was too detailed, and the font was not readable. It was also a raster file, meaning it would not be versatile or scalable enough for marketing materials (check out our recent blog post about raster and vector files to learn more!).

Our goal was to create a logo that stayed true to the client’s preferences, while also making sure the logo would be usable. We modified the logo, using different fonts and simplifying the details to ensure readability. Having vector files of the logo was crucial, too.

In addition to including a clean, monoline script font in the logo, we expanded the color palette to include various shades of teal, which is the client’s favorite color. We included illustrations to add a personal and welcoming feel to the visual identity.

When designing their business cards, presentation template, and email signature, we used the same colors, fonts, and overall design style to ensure brand consistency.
