Bell Tier III On-site repairs, restorations and emergency service of legacy telephone equipment no longer covered Tier III Support and Response.

Periodic Maintenance is the key to keeping dial tone. Bell Tier III’s technicians will come to you and perform regular maintenance, and we offer a one week class in EWSD Switch Maintenance 101. Tier II Hands-on Training also available. We cover all aspects of the Siemens EWSD, DMS and 5ESS switches, from periodic maintenance to telephone switch growth, and will perform switch removal in certain lo

cations. Routine, periodic or daily maintenance is offered and encouraged. Legacy telephone equipment is solidly made and reliable, and it is also aging. The parts are no longer being manufactured. Bell Tier III has been harvesting and rejuvenating parts for these switches, because soon the parts will not be available anywhere. Maintenance is crucial to keep these switches running, as the alternative – replacement with all new equipment – is cost prohibitive. The better we can care for these seasoned warriors, the longer they will serve us. Popular Maintenance Schedules

• Periodic: Regularly scheduled testing and checkup, repairs as needed (Various schedules)
• Daily: a tech stationed in your CO keeping the switch smoothly running

Our telephone switching class, EWSD Switch Maintenance 101, was held for the first time in our new classroom/lab in Carnegie, PA, using our new EWSD switch for hands on learning. The students (from a major Telco) were enthusiastic, engaged and a pleasure to teach. Scheduling for fall classes now and we are looking forward to it!

EWSD classes are now being scheduled for 2016, starting in May. A big welcome to our first students in our new theater classroom,with hands-on instruction on our own EWSD switch. There's plenty to do in Pittsburgh in the spring!
