From ancient stone to digital twin, our time in Volterra last week was nothing short of extraordinary. Case Technologies joined global collaborators to spotlight the power of reality capture, BIM, and immersive modeling in preserving cultural heritage.

This media showcase brought together technologists, historians, and storytellers—including Professor Wladek Fuchs, whose architectural expertise and long-standing engagement with Volterra have helped shape the academic foundation of the initiative, and Elena Sorge, whose archaeological leadership ensures the integrity and authenticity of every step. Through drone photogrammetry, laser scanning, and the power of Autodesk’s design/build software, we are capturing Fallingwater from every angle--- inside and out. In collaboration with the Conservancy, we are building a precise digital model that honors their stewardship and ensures this architectural icon can be explored, studied, and celebrated for generations to come.
