AM radio remains one of the most effective methods of emergency broadcast transmission accessible to everyone. It’s a vital layer of America’s Emergency Alert System which provides public warnings about natural disasters, AMBER alerts, etc.

This is why I am proud to support the AM Radio for Every Vehicle Act, which ensures all newly manufactured vehicles must be equipped with AM radio at no additional cost to drivers.

We must act now to protect public safety and secure emergency preparedness by passing this legislation.
