We’re excited to share the launch of the new Iris Light Technologies website
🚀
Silicon Photonics has long faced bottlenecks when integrating active devices like lasers and long-wavelength photodetectors directly onto silicon. Traditional methods rely on complex bonding and heterogeneous assembly, adding cost, complexity, and limits to scalability.
Iris Light is solving this with a fundamentally new approach. They’re pioneering a new class of opto-electronically active photonic inks built from tunable nanomaterials — enabling seamless integration into existing manufacturing workflows. No reinventing the fab. No unnecessary complexity. Just faster prototyping, higher yields, and a more scalable path from R&D to production.
For this project, the challenge wasn’t simplifying the science — their audience is highly technical. It was about structuring a large volume of deep, application-specific information in a way that:
✔️ Clearly communicates their breakthrough value proposition
✔️ Organizes a long list of applications and verticals without overwhelming visitors
✔️ Maintains technical credibility while improving flow and visibility
✔️ Weaves their core advantage — process compatibility and scalability — throughout every industry and application page
The result is a focused, technically rigorous digital experience that reflects both the sophistication of their technology and the breadth of its potential impact.
Congratulations to the Iris Light team on bringing this next generation of silicon photonics to market 👏
