Included in the FlexoEyePlus suite of features is the new BetaFlex Pro Workflow Automation / QR Code Relational Database for the BetaFlex Pro.

WorkFlow Automation utilizes a micro QR Code and full relational database to track the photopolymer sheet through imaging, processing, and printing.
Working in conjunction with the ESKO Automation Engine the QR code is automatically generated and imaged on the mask. Processing parameters are then automatically set when the code is read at the plate processor. This eliminates the possibility of operator error when keying in the plate exposure and processing settings.

The micro QR Code on the processed plate is automatically recognized by the new BetaFlex Pro software, setting the measurement parameters, recording the measured results of dot area, dot structure, plate thickness, and relief. Errors in configuration of the BetaFlex Pro due to operator error are now eliminated.

BetaFlex Pro Roll Mount makes it possible to document plate wear and damage while the plate is still on press. The Betaflex Pro sensor (measuring head) attaches to the Roll Mount, stabilizing the sensor on a stationary plate cylinder for 3D mode measurements. Web print samples can also be imaged on a stationary web over a turning bar or flat area.

BetaFlex Pro Sleeve Adapter System Measure flexo plates and digital masks in the round in both conventional 2D mode and 3D mode and supports sleeves up to 80 inches / 2032 mm wide, 15.7 inches / 398.78 mm in diameter. Measure Dot Structure Analysis in 3D mode reveals dot height, slope, and more.

Beta Precision Digital Electronic Rulers allow precise, portable, non-contact measurements of large and small distances on films, plates, dies, and prints. A 50x PEAK microscope attached to the digital display traverses the area to be measured on a rugged steel beam.

The operator can select inch or metric measurements with a resolution of 0.0005” or 0.01mm, respectively.

For distances over 0.060” the operator places the microscope cross hair over the start of the sample and zeros the digital display for non-contact measurement. The slide assembly is then moved to the opposite end of the sample and the fine-motion thumb roller is then used to place the cross hairs over the end of the sample.

The high contrast digital LCD micrometer display, self-contained and battery powered with resettable zero to measure in either absolute or relative modes with inch/metric conversion shows the exact distance moved to measure substrate distortion or stretch.

Line widths, bar code elements, image register error, and any feature that fits within the field of view of the microscope can be measured directly on the microscope eyepiece scale. Inch or metric reticles can be specified when the unit is ordered.
