It is a great pleasure to announce Brian Waldrop as the Securematics Standout! Brian is a Solutions Architect at Securematics and has been a member of the team for almost 2 years now. His role is to help internal and external partners solve problems in the areas of wired and wireless infrastructure and network security. He goes the extra mile in all aspects of his job and is always willing to lend a hand. Here is a little more on Brian!

-What do you like most about your job and industry?
I like to learn, and this job and industry have given me the opportunity to learn many technologies. I started my career in telecommunications. Now, I am learning about IoT, artificial intelligence, machine learning, and network automation.

-What are two fun facts about you?
1. I am four years older than my younger brother, but we have the same birth month and day.
2. My paternal ancestors migrated to the mountains of Western North Carolina from Pennsylvania about 240 years ago after fighting in the American Revolution.

-Do you have a special hobby or talent you enjoy?
Woodcarving, flyfishing, exploring the Blue Ridge Mountains, and genealogy
