The session will start with about an hour of basic tutorial then end with a short module with pre-generated level 1 characters.
• 2:30pm Azul ran by Carolyn Smith (2-4 Players/ 30-45 Min)
In the game Azul, players take turns drafting colored tiles from suppliers to their player board. Later in the round, players score points based on how they've placed their tiles to decorate the palace. Extra points are scored for specific patterns and completing sets; wasted supplies harm the player's score. The player with the most points at the end of the game wins.
• 3pm Catan ran by Luis Chavez (3-4 Players/ 60-120 Min)
In CATAN (formerly The Settlers of Catan), players try to be the dominant force on the island of Catan by building settlements, cities, and roads. On each turn dice are rolled to determine what resources the island produces. Players build by spending resources (sheep, wheat, wood, brick and ore) that are depicted by these resource cards; each land type, with the exception of the unproductive desert, produces a specific resource: hills produce brick, forests produce wood, mountains produce ore, fields produce wheat, and pastures produce sheep.
• 3:30pm D&D 3.5 ran by Tristan Donaldson
Please bring dice and a writing utensil. We will have a few extra dice but not many. Pre-generated characters will be provided. This is a one shot but if interested in a campaign, be sure to talk to the DM for campaign details. He is wanting to start a campaign.
• 4pm Betrayal at House on the Hill ran by Russ (3-6 Players/ 60 Min)
Secretly, one of the characters betrays the rest of the party, and the innocent members of the party must defeat the traitor in their midst before it’s too late! Betrayal at House on the Hill will appeal to any game player who enjoys a fun, suspenseful, and strategic game.
• 4:30pm Kill Dr. Lucky ran by Xavian (3-8 Players/ 45 Min)
In this notorious game, an inversion of Clue, you hate Doctor Lucky. Maybe he left you out of his will. Maybe he killed your pet rock. Whatever the reason, you want him dead. Unfortunately, so do the other players. Since you don't want to go to jail, you need to make your attempt in secret; if anybody can see you, whistle nonchalantly, and let the Doctor live ... until next time.
• 4:30-7:30pm Magic the Gathering ran by Future Magic RSO
We will have starting decks and will teach you how to play. OR Feel free to bring your deck and challenge other people.
• 5pm Wingspan ran by Alex Suarez (1-5 Players/ 40-70 Min)
Wingspan is a competitive, medium-weight, card-driven, engine-building board game from Stonemaier Games. The winner is the player with the most points after 4 rounds.
• 5pm Ticket to Ride: Europe ran by Gabriel (2-5 Players/ 30-60 Min)
Ticket to Ride: Europe features brand new gameplay elements. Tunnels may require you to pay extra cards to build on them, Ferries require locomotive cards in order to claim them, and Stations allow you to sacrifice a few points in order to use an opponent's route to connect yours. The game also includes larger format cards and Train Station game pieces. The overall goal remains the same: collect and play train cards in order to place your pieces on the board, attempting to connect cities on your ticket cards. Points are earned both from placing trains and completing tickets but uncompleted tickets lose you points. The player who has the most points at the end of the game wins.
• 5:30pm Point Salad ran by Carolyn Smith (2-6 Players/ 15-30 Min)
Point Salad is a fast and fun card drafting game for the whole family. There are over 100 ways to score points. Players may use a variety of strategies and every game of Point Salad is unique! Cards come in six different types of veggies, and the back of each card has a different scoring method. So, for instance, one scoring method may award 2 points for every carrot you have, but deduct a point for every onion. By drafting combinations of veggies and point cards that work for your strategy, you can amass the most points and win.
• 6pm King of Tokyo ran by Mickey Smith (2-6 Players/ 30 Min)
In King of Tokyo, you play mutant monsters, gigantic robots, and strange aliens—all of whom are destroying Tokyo and whacking each other in order to become the one and only King of Tokyo.
