Aurender - Official N50 + NH10
A Digital Front End That Has Become Something Special at Sunny’s
The Aurender N50 is quickly becoming one of our favorite digital sources at Sunny's Audio Video / Sunny Components Inc..
Aurender has put tremendous engineering into the N50, and one of the things that particularly interested us was its ability to integrate beautifully into a true reference digital system.
In our system, the N50 feeds the extraordinary CH Precision C10 two-chassis DAC through CH-Link HD. It is a remarkably simple connection for a digital system capable of this level of performance.
But the N50 is only part of what we have been discovering.
The Aurender NH10
Adding the Aurender NH10 Audiophile Network Switch took this system in a direction that genuinely surprised us.
The NH10 isn't simply about providing an Ethernet connection. Aurender has designed it as a serious component for a high-performance digital system, including the ability to accept an external reference clock.
That capability allowed us to integrate the CH Precision T10 Time Reference into the network side of our reference system.
The improvement we experienced was monumental.
It demonstrated to us just how much attention can be paid to the entire digital chain—not simply the server and DAC, but also the network environment, power, clocking and the connections between them.
Shunyata Research completes the system
We then took another important step.
Our Aurender N50 and NH10 are powered using Shunyata Research, while the critical clock connections use Shunyata Omega-X Clock cables.
At this level, we don't look at these products as individual accessories.
