Today is a great day to stop by Room 354 and check out THE MAIN SEQUENCE SYSTEM Ex Machina Soundworks x Danville Signal Processing
The Main Sequence System is what happens when the right minds in physics, acoustics, material science, loudspeaker design, and digital signal processing build toward a single objective: accuracy.
Ex Machina Soundworks brought its loudspeaker design expertise, acoustic engineering, and proprietary DSP algorithms. Danville Signal Processing, well known in the audiophile community for their DSP Nexus processor platform, contributed the processing architecture. Purifi supplied the drivers and amplification. The result is a complete, integrated loudspeaker ecosystem, conceived and engineered as a single instrument rather than a collection of components.
The system centers on a pair of MTM loudspeakers built in Durasein, each loaded with customized dual Purifi PTT10.0X woofers and a custom SEAS C18 coaxial driver featuring Composite Sound Metamodal TX™ TPCD technology in both the mid and high diaphragms. Driving them is a customized DSP Nexus 8-channel processor developed specifically for this collaboration, running Ex Machina's proprietary impulse response, FIR, IIR algorithms, and LR4 digital zero-phase crossovers, with per-driver time correction accurate to within half a sample at 192kHz. The processor and two matching amplifier chassis are housed in bespoke enclosures built to complement the loudspeakers, finished to order. Purifi 6525SA amplification, delivering 450 watts per channel, completes the signal chain.
The Main Sequence System is sold as a complete integrated ecosystem: loudspeakers, amplifiers, and DSP processor as one.
