According to PinMeTo's research, short, generic, and repetitive reviews are increasingly being flagged and removed because they read more like automated responses than genuine experiences.

What holds up:
— Reviews that mention a specific service or product
— Reviews that include context about the visit
— Reviews written in the customer's own voice with real detail

What gets flagged:
— "5 stars, great experience"
— "Would recommend!"
— Short, repetitive phrasing across multiple reviews

This changes how you should think about asking for reviews. Don't just ask — make it easy for customers to remember what was good about their specific experience.
